At St. Mary’s Syro-Malabar Catholic Mission – Newcastle | Maitland, we are committed to creating and maintaining a safe, caring, and respectful environment for all — especially children, young people, and vulnerable individuals entrusted to our care. Our Safeguarding Officer serves as the first point of contact for any concerns, guidance, or support regarding the wellbeing and protection of those within our faith community.

Our Safeguarding Team ensures that every ministry, activity, and interaction within our Mission upholds the highest standards of respect, responsibility, and care in line with Church and diocesan safeguarding practices.
